Stunning collection of supercars in Switzerland
YouTuber, Mr. JWW had the opportunity to view this exciting collection of cars and showed us the rare Ferraris and Mercedes on display.
Being surrounded by the very best cars ever made, and by that we mean the rarest of the rare, is quite an unreal feeling. So if the YouTube channel Mr. JWWas in James William Walker went to visit a hideout supercar Collection in Switzerland, which is sometimes open to tourists, had to be very special.
Let’s take a look.
A really special pista to start the show
First, JWW directed the camera to a Ferrari Pista Piloti, a special edition of the 488 Pista only offered to Ferrari customers who drove with Ferrari, and hence the car carried a race number. The one in the hidden car collection was number 27, and all the logos and stripes on it were hand-painted.
Other Ferraris followed with a 599 GTO and an F12 TDF, each built in limited numbers of 599 and 799 respectively. After much back-and-forth over whether Ferrari should keep making limited-edition cars or open them to the public, Walker approached a Saleen S7 and said he’d never pointed a camera at one of them before. While there is no official production number, there are only a few hundred out there, so seeing one in real life is pretty “crazy”.
The two supercars would take JWW if he could
The first car among all the supercars and hypercars that Walker would like to take would be the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, while the second would be the Ferrari F40. He says because he thinks today’s supercars are almost too fast. He said: “I’ve spent almost five days in a Ferrari SF90 and it was cool, but what do you do with a thousand horsepower?”
He goes on to say that the SF90 is a bit too heavy to be a race car, but too fast to be a street car. So when the novelty wears off, it’s the slightly older cars or the modern classics that give you real driving pleasure.
Finally, Walker also introduced a new racing lounge called Racing Unleashed, which is basically a fairly advanced form of simulation or simulation driving. Grown enough to be a real sport, it now has racing leagues and prize money.
The love for cars and fast cars seems endless.
