THE MECHANICS OF THE LINE
When the hand fades away
April 2 > June 25, 2022
Through some twenty works created by artists of today and by a few visionary artists such as Jean Tinguely and Vera Molnar, the journey revolves around the notion of line drawing reactivated by new practices.
Augmented wall fresco, generative or animated drawing, projections, automatic, interactive or even algorithmic tracings, virtual reality… the drawings on display come out of traditional formats, slipping from the hand to the screen and vice versa.
