Italo arrives in San Donà and announces new hires in Venice
Italo expands the network in Veneto: from 12 June, on the occasion of the time change, the trains of the Ntv company will also serve San Donà di Piave, connecting it with the stops of Trieste, Monfalcone, Latisana, Portogruaro, Mestre, Padua, Ferrara, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Naples.
There will be two daily connections: the first departing from Trieste at 8:06 which will arrive at 9:27 in San Donà di Piave to leave again at 9:29 towards Mestre (arrival 9:55), Padua (10:33), Ferrara ( 11:08), Bologna Centrale (11:39), Florence Santa Maria Novella (12:20), Roma Tiburtina (13:54), Roma Termini (14:05) and Napoli Centrale (15:28). The other service will depart from Naples at 13:35, from Roma Termini at 14:55, from Tiburtina at 15:05, from Florence at 16:39, from Bologna at 17:21, from Ferrara at 17:52, from Padua at 6:27 pm, from Mestre at 6:55 pm to get to San Donà di Piave at 7:24 pm. The train will leave San Donà at 7:26 pm to continue the journey towards Portogruaro (arrival at 7:48 pm), Latisana (8:01 pm), Monfalcone (8:31 pm) and end the journey in Trieste at 8:56 pm.
It is a new opportunity for users to be connected to the high-speed market, with the possibility of reaching strategic cities such as Bologna, Florence, Rome and Naples. «The Veneto – explains the commercial director Fabrizio Bona. it is one of the regions most served by our trains. We have invested in the area since we left, 10 years ago, and from June San Donà di Piave will also be served by Italo, entering the high-speed network. We are sure that this new stop will give us satisfaction ».
This is not the only novelty: the company, in fact, has announced its intention to hire new staff in Venice. In particular, young people are looking for plant operators (technical-scientific graduates within the age of 29), the first step to reach the role of high-speed train drivers: the suitable ones will be hired with an apprenticeship contract and sent to the training course lasting 6 months.
