Finnair announces direct flights from DFW to Helsinki – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
Finnair Atlantic announced on Tuesday that flyers can now buy direct flights from DFW Airport to Helsinki (HEL).
Due to increased demand for international travel, the new route will operate four times a week starting February 8th.
“As international tourism demand picks up, Finnair is pleased to offer our customers the opening of our Dallas Fort Worth – Helsinki route,” said Caroline Borawski, Finnair’s Director of North America.
According to the authorities, the new service introduces the integration of its customers into Finnair’s network throughout Scandinavia and a partnership with American Airlines’ extensive network from DFW.
“The increased access to Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltics and elsewhere meets both essential and hopeful travel needs and demonstrates Finnair’s significant investment and commitment to North America.”
According to Finnair, the airport opened new arrivals and departures in December 2021 and new check-in areas, which will be available in May 2022.
