San Marino: the Party of Socialists and Democrats brings the world of work to discuss Europe
“The Party of Socialists and Democrats after the pandemic returns to the center of the political debate – the San Marino Party writes in a note – the issue of the international perspective of San Marino, starting from integration into the single European market through the Association Agreement. 7 years after the start of the negotiations and after 2 years of near-stalemate in relations due to Covid, for the PSD it is necessary to give the decisive push to get out of the shallows of a third party that no longer gives room for maneuver. In fact, it seems clear that the San Marino of the 90-2000s no longer exists, the characteristics have facilitated the financial scandals (and not only) that have been the subject of the Inquiry Commissions and that the particularities are not sufficient to fuel a competitiveness that we do not have. more recovered.
Therefore the PSD organizes – continues the note – on Thursday 31 March at 6 pm at the Social Center of Customs, a discussion with the business and trade union world, to listen to their voices and to discuss concrete issues of public interest. In recent years a question has often been used to buy time and avoid constructive confrontation: “What are the costs and benefits of the Association Agreement”. That’s why the title of Thursday’s conference is “Association agreements: costs? Benefit? Because the question doesn’t make sense “. At the round table – concludes the PSD note – which will be introduced by the PSD Secretary Gerardo Giovagnoli, will be attended by Tito Masi for ANIS, Enrico Biordi for USL, Monica Bollini for OSLA, Gianluca Montanari for CDLS and Enzo Merlini for CSDL“.
