Benfica Cup Portugal Quarteira Triathlon
Young people Benfica triathletes in close-up at the Quarteira stage of the Portuguese Cup, where they competed on Sunday, March 27, with six medals won. The highlights go to the Club’s women’s team, winner in its sector, and to Cassilda Carvalho for the absolute 2nd place.
In femininean Benfica teamcomposed by Cassilda Carvalho, Rafaela Canano Silva and Luísa Mirandait was a big winner. The reds got the better of Sporting and the Clube de Natação de Torres Novas, which completed the collective podium in 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
Individually, Cassilda Carvalhoin his first year as a cadet, he had a close race with Frenchwoman Jeanne Lehair (Sporting CP), an athlete who was ranked 16th in the last stage of the Elite World Championship in Abu Dhabi, and ended up in 2nd absolute position and 1st in their rank. Luisa Miranda completed the podium in cadets (3rd) and was ranked 9th in absolute terms. in juniors, Rafaela Canano Silvaher in the first year, also the 1st place in the class it’s the 4th absolute.
