The air bridge between Madeira and Lisbon comes into force today with seven flights in each direction
The air bridge created by TAP between Lisbon and Madeira, with two daily connections in each direction and more, comes into force this Monday, March 28, following the announcement made by the company last month.
According to the statement released on February 14, with this airlift, “TAP creates a product that gives customers with more frequent flights, great flexibility in the new change of reservations on the same day and greater comfort”.
TAP points out that this program also provides for a ‘fast track’, with an exclusive access channel for security minutes for passengers, “more and more comfortable”, in addition to ‘check in’ at 45 minutes before departure .
As of today, TAP will increase the number of flights to seven flights in each direction, with departures from Madeira International Airport at 05:15, 06:05, 09:50, 12:35, 16:00 , 19:25 and 22:25.
Returns from Lisbon are scheduled for 07:15, 10:00, 13:25, 16:50, 19:50, 22:10 and 23:25.
With this programme, the secure security that also relates to “the air transport needs of Madeirans and the optimized connections in the ‘hub’ of Lisbon to increase flights and to other destinations on the TAP network, potential demand for Madeira”.
