Sweden’s IT recruitment activity in the pharmaceutical industry decreased by 8.0% in February 2022
Sweden’s medical industry registered an 8.0% decrease in IT employment activity in February 2022 compared to the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s total employment decreased by 6.25% in February 2022 compared to January 2022.
Of the total recruitment activity in the pharmaceutical industry, IT jobs accounted for 19.09% in February 2022, which noted an increase of 2.99% compared with the average share over the past three months.
Top five job classifications in the Swedish medical industry’s IT recruitment operations in February 2022
Of the total job titles, the five best roles accounted for 97.56% of the total IT recruitment activity for Sweden’s medical industry in February 2022.
1) Software and web developers, programmers and testers recorded a share of 60.98% in February 2022, a decrease of 35.9% compared to the previous month.
2) Data and information researchers claimed a share of 12.2%, an increase of 25% compared to the previous month.
3) Database and network administrators and architects had a share of 12.2%, which registered an unchanged growth from January 2022.
4) Various computer professions took a share of 7.32%, a decrease of 40% compared to the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Sweden’s IT recruitment operations in February 2022
The five best companies, calculated in the number of jobs tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a total average growth of 29.17% of the total IT recruitment activity for Sweden’s medical industry in February 2022 compared with January 2022.
Breas Medical posted 8 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a decrease of 11.11% compared to the previous month, followed by Danaher with 7 jobs and a growth of 133.33%. Sectra with 7 IT jobs and Cambio Healthcare Systems with 6 jobs noted a decrease of 12.5% and a growth of 100%, respectively, while CellaVision noted an increase of 200% with 3 job advertisements in February 2022.

The jobs at junior level had a share of 65.85%, a decrease of 22.86% from January 2022. Intermediate level positions with a share of 19.51% registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.
In third place came job advertisements at the beginner level with a share of 14.63%, unchanged growth compared with January 2022.
