Relations between Portugal and Greece cannot be better in the EU and on a global scale – War in Ukraine
The President of the Republic and soon after Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, it was considered that between Portugal and Greece, from the political level, they could not be better in the European Union, and on a global scale.

Regarding Ukraine, the President of the Republic pointed out that both Portugal and Greece condemned the invasion of the Russian Federation, within the framework of the European Union and NATO, and that they welcome Ukrainian refugees.
According to Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the two countries have “been together, not only in the solutions, but also in the analysis of solutions for the immediate effects of the war”.
The head of state said that “Greece and Portugal have, together with European countries, worked in the search for economic and financial savings and to respond to the effects that social network solutions already exist”, for example, in the sector.
