Karim Adeyemi still on the BVB wish list – new talks with Red Bull Salzburg planned
Karim Adeyemi, who didn’t even make it to the DFB team due to a muscle injury, will miss today’s international match against Israel in Sinsheim, but this may change the future plans of the 20-year-old young international.
Because, as the “Ruhr Nachrichten” reports, those responsible at Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg will meet again in a new round of negotiations to reach an agreement on the planned transfer from the Austrian champions to BVB. Most recently, talks between the two clubs have largely come to a standstill, as it is understood that neither side wanted to move significantly.
Million-dollar difference in the replacement plans
According to information from “Bild”, Salzburg’s apparently unshakeable demand of 45 million euros is significantly higher than BVB’s offer, which should amount to a maximum of 38 million euros. And so far, BVB has seemed neither willing nor able to improve its offer.
In the meantime, Dortmund may already know more about Erling Haaland’s personnel. A sale of the Norwegian for a fixed 75 million euros would definitely make it easier for Borussia to approach Salzburg’s demands at Adeyemi. And meanwhile, most experts firmly believe that Haaland will make use of his release clause and leave BVB in the summer, with the Norwegian striker’s new employer IS still open.
