Finnair & Fort Worth starts co-operation through singing and dancing
Like Finnair starts flying to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), they celebrated this by singing and dancing in a new location. As Finland’s leading airline, Finnair sang a unique version of the song “Deep In The Heart Of Texas”, a famous folk song from the South American state.
In the video posted to Twitter, we see ten Finnair flight attendants singing and dancing to their own song performance. Watching the video at the end of a personal Finnair tour will not be disappointing.
Recent routes to Texas
While Dallas Fort Worth is geographically deep in the heart of Texas, it is also culturally the heart of Texas. This means that anyone who wants to visit a lonely star state in Finland definitely wants to visit Dallas.
In November 2021, it was announced that Finnair and Iberia would fly on this route Atlantic Joint Undertaking (AJB) initiative, which connects Europe and North America. Flights will start in 2022.
Finnair flies from downtown Helsinki to Dallas four times a week and uses an Airbus A350-900 aircraft. In connection with the announcement of the new route, Finnair’s North American CEO Caroline Borawski said: “As international travel demand picks up, Finnair is pleased to offer our customers our Dallas Fort Worth – Helsinki route.
“The increased access to Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltics and elsewhere meets both essential and hopeful travel needs and demonstrates Finnair’s significant investment and commitment to North America.”

Atlantic Joint Business Initiative
AJB is a brain product american airlinesBritish Airways and Iberia. It connects North America to Europe. All of these airlines have a lot in common. Both British Airways and Iberian are owned by a single company, the International Airlines Group (IAG), and are sister airlines. American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia are all onemembers of the World Federation.
Finnair joined AJB in 2013. The Spanish airline LEVEL joined in 2017 and the Irish Aer Lingus in 2021 after receiving permission from the US Department of Transportation.

The partnership has also helped IAG remain competitive and compete with other airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, Delta and JetBlue. They are all expanding their routes and will become a concern and a threat to IAG and American Airlines. JetBlue recently opened new services from New York to London. British Airways and American Airlines fly between the two metropolises.
It seems that an exciting time is coming for Finnair, which plans to expand even more. It will be interesting to see where it wants to add its network next.
