Ice Hockey. Huge disappointment for Caen, released in the quarter-finals

It is in a sadly bare ice rink, far from the beautiful atmosphere sometimes revealed in the regular season, that the Hockey Club of Caen ended its season prematurely, this Thursday, March 24, 2022. The Drakkars lost the match too much against Nantes, ahead from one end to the other of the fourth round of this quarter-final (1-4).
By conceding a goal in the first minute of play, Caen was alone. The Caennais took the fatal goal, the third, after 12 seconds of play in the second period (0-3). Pierre-Antoine Devin’s score reduction halfway through the game was in vain, as Nantes mastered the proceedings and even added a fourth pawn in the last ten minutes.
For Caen, the account is not there. The objective – legitimate – was to play the final square. The HCC stops in the first round of the playoffs. Luc Chauvel, who was coaching his last match, deserved a better outing…
