Florence Parley in Athens for Rafale and Belharra – “Charles de Gaulle” in Piraeus
The French Minister of Defense, Florence Parley, will be in Athens today, in order to co-sign the agreements for the additional 6 Rafale fighter aircraft and the 3 + 1 Belharra frigates, which will be acquired by the Air Force and the Navy respectively.
Parley will come to Athens directly from Brussels, where she is accompanying the French President, Emanuel Macron, to the NATO Summit, with the war in Ukraine.
The signing for Rafale and Belharra will take place on the deck of the legendary armored cruiser “Averoff” this afternoon.
Florence Parley will be accompanied by top executives of the French Armed Forces and top executives of the Rafale and Belharra manufacturers, namely Dassault and Naval Group.
