Radio Ukraine starts broadcasting in Prague
The online broadcast of Radio Ukraine began in the Czech capital, Prague, on Tuesday, the Ukrainian embassy in the Czech Republic reported on Facebook.
“The radio is entirely in Ukrainian with exceptional Ukrainian music. The project is aimed at Ukrainians who were forced to move to the Czech Republic to escape the Russian war against Ukraine. However, as Ambassador Yevhen Perebyinis is convinced, the radio station will also interest Czechs who will be interested in getting acquainted with Ukrainian music or learning the Ukrainian language, ”the embassy said.

The radio also plans to launch a series of consultations with experts. A significant part of the radio broadcast will be devoted to children’s programs, in particular, stage readings of children’s fairy tales, “the statement reads.
The manager of the Czech Radio Ukraine project is Natalia Churikova, a former Radio Liberty journalist in Prague.
According to the Czech authorities, 270 refugees from Ukraine arrived in the Czech Republic, half of them children.
