To underline the symbolic significance of this action, the presence of the Bishop of the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro Monsignor Andrea Turazzi, of the Ambassador of Italy in San Marino Sergio Mercuri, of the Secretary of State for Culture Andrea Belluzzi, in addition to that of the administrators of neighboring municipalities and the delegations of the municipalities of Brescia and Camaiore. The Kaki Tree Project initiative is part of the “Ortiperlapace” project, a project whose mission is to disseminate the culture of peace and sustainability and which sees the San Marino Green Festival and Podere Lesignano as promoters, the latter site physics of the project, formerly an educational farm that houses the only Shinto temple in Europe. And don’t try anything better than the words of Stefano Valentini, entrepreneur and owner of Podere Lesignano: “We live in difficult times in which most people are disoriented and disheartened. However, meeting with special people like those of the Kaki Tree in paths like this is already in itself a sign of change that still makes us hope for a better world ”.
