Maurer fire brigade commander Max Bühler honored – Liechtenstein
MAUREN – In a ceremonial act, the municipality of Mauren honored Max Bühler as the long-standing commander of the Mauren volunteer fire brigade and officially appointed the new management duo Michael Wanger and Bruno Meyerhans.
As the municipality of Mauren announced on Tuesday, Max Bühler has been at the forefront for 20 years – since 2003 as overall deputy and since 2010 as chief commander of the Mauren volunteer fire brigade, which began its 150th anniversary last year and has 46 members counts.

During a small ceremony, Superintendent Freddy Kaiser acknowledged the merits of Max Bühler, who managed the fate of the volunteer fire brigades in the personnel, technical and organizational areas with great care, competence and passion. “Max Bühler always expects a great deal of attention to be paid to the next generation – the young fire brigade,” it continues. Max Bühler appointed honorary commander
At the general meeting of the fire brigade on January 5, 2022, Max Bühler’s services were duly acknowledged and thanked – with the appointment as honorary commander. At the same time, Michael Wanger was elected the new commander and Bruno Meyerhans was elected deputy commander. According to the announcement, Michael Wanger has held the position of deputy commander since 2016 and, like Bruno Meyerhans, who is also a “firefighter” through and through, brings with him a great deal of competence and management experience.
With the farewell of the honorary commander Max Bühler by the community leadership, the new management duo of the Mauren fire brigade was officially installed.
