A Parisian legend close to Milan!
I’InterMilan looking to strengthen in attack. Among his leads, the Italian champions are said to be eyeing a Paris Saint-Germain legend.
Inter Mercato: Edinson Cavani in the sights
The Interistes were to be active on the transfer market this summer. In progress to recover the Argentinian jewel Paulo Dybala from Juventus, the Nerazzurri are increasing their options in attack to compensate for a possible departure from Lautaro Martinez. Among these hot leads is the name of Edinson Cavani, whose contract runs until June at Manchester United.
Like Lukaku last summer, replaced by Edin Dzeko, the European champions wish to compensate for the departure of one of their players by a recruit of the same profile. In the event of the departure of Martinez, whose price has been set at 80 million euros, Inter would therefore direct their search towards a finishing striker, endowed with a good vision of the game. For his part, the top scorer of PSG would be tempted by a return to Italy, where he played for six seasons, from 2007 to 2013.
What season for Inter Milan?
The Nerazzurri have, like their rival Rossonero, the possibility of making the league and cup double this season. However, the situation is more complex, Inter are 6 points behind AC Milan, moreover Juventus, 4th, came back to a point behind them. The end of the season for the Italian champions could prove to be historic as well as dramatic. After the departures of Antonio Conte, Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi, the Interistes were expected at the turn. The Lombard club is no longer a favorite in the title race but an outsider, a place that could allow them to beat Naples and Milan at the post.
The Inter Milan management’s strategy had been heavily criticized by fans, as two of the best players had left the club after the Italian title. A departure of Lautaro Martinez would reignite tensions between management and fans, especially since Marcelo Brozovic has still not extended his contract. Only the arrival of a player like Paulo Dybala or a new title would calm things down. The next few weeks will therefore be decisive for the Milanese club.
