Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister Delegate in charge of SMEs, presented last Thursday the decree which frames the implementation of the government plan France Destination, intended to support the participation of new exhibitors in major commercial events. Two events in Bordeaux appearing among the 71 exhibitions and fairs selected on a national scale: the Foire de Bordeaux, organized from May 21 to 29, and the Vinitech-Sifel exhibition, intended for professionals in the wine-growing, arboricultural and market gardening sectors, which will be held from November 29 to December 1.
The aid, the distribution of which will be managed through the network of CCIs, via a dedicated platform, takes the form of a subsidy reserved for exhibitors who did not take part in the previous edition of these two events. It covers 50% of exhibition space rental expenses, with a ceiling set at 12,500 euros excluding tax per exhibitor, up to a limit of 1.3 million euros per event.
SMEs with less than 250 employees and whose annual turnover does not exceed 50 million euros or whose annual balance sheet total does not exceed 43 million euros are eligible. For international exhibitors, assistance will only be available if they have an establishment or a branch in France. A paid invoice and an accountant’s certificate attesting to compliance with the definition of SME are required for the constitution of the file.
” This specific support represents real recognition of the weight of the events sector and the impact of the trade show media, a real tool for boosting business for SMEs. “, welcomes Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux, producer of these two events.
