Lots of struggle and spasm
“The space conditions were torture,” groaned ATSV trainer Milan Pavlovic. His otherwise strong squad was well advised to adapt their style of play accordingly at the spring opener against fourth-placed Faistenau. “We had to find our way into the game with a lot of fighting. That wasn’t really nice to look at,” Pavlovic continued. Nevertheless, the city dwellers were allowed to celebrate early on: A Tiago-Stangler, who was basically intended for Ristic, came to Andrija Petrovic, who arranged the marble again, only to throw it from around eleven meters into the to move stitches (6th).
Tiago chauffeured front runners to the next complete success
At the beginning of the second half of the game, Faistenauer suddenly spoke up. Because Mendim Fetahaj didn’t let himself be bitten twice for goal number 16 of the season, the score was 1-1 after 50 minutes. In addition, Pavlovic eyed not harmless Faistenau projectiles from afar. “We have a good one,” the ATSV coach could rely on goalkeeper Miodragovic’s skills. The ATSV then got back on its feet and only found its way back to winning ways in the 62nd minute when Tiago elegantly rounded guest goalie Klaushofer and stroked the ball into the empty goal. In the finish, the guest eleven put everything on one card, which gave the Pavlovic crew more space. Tiago again marked the 3-1 final score. The Brazilian was there after a corner and Klaushofer’s uncertainty and headed in (86′).
