Volvo brings to Portugal C40 Recharge Single Motor, a 100% electric option
Another proposal for an all-electric car from Volvo has just arrived in Portugal: the Single C40 refill motorthe first model of the Swedish brand to be thought and designed from scratch to be 100% electric.
As the name implies, the new Volvo model rides a single electric motorwhich transmits 231 hp of power to the front wheels.
AN advertised range is 434km (DC fast charging up to 1 kW, under ideal conditions in 32 minutes) and charging to approximately 80% of battery capacity.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that the C40 is Volvo’s first car and does not include any animal-derived leather components.
Available in three trim levels – Core, Plus and Ultimate – the Volvo C40 Recharge Single Engine integrates an infotainment system developed jointly with Google, based on the Android operating system. The Google Map and Google Assistant services are thus directly accessible, as is the Google Play app store.
This model is ready to receive over-the-air software updateswhich allows the Swedish manufacturer to offer performance improvements gradually over time.
The Volvo C40 Recharge Single Motor is now available at the Swedish brand’s national dealerships, with prices starting at €48,826, where maintenance already includes VAT, warranty, insurance and insurance.
With the arrival of this model, Volvo increases its portfolio of 100% electric versions. Remember that, from 2030, the brand will have its range exclusively made up of models with this feature.
