During the interview, Dončić was also asked if Bryant spoke to him in Slovene. Instead of having a few basic words to expect, Bryant learned a few Slovenian swear words to ask Dončić. “He said some bad words in my language,” revealed Dončić. “I thought, ‘Who’s behind me talking to me in my language?’ I just looked behind me and it was Kobe.
He described the interaction as “amazing” and something he will never forget. Dončić even took a photo with Bryant, one of the guys he was inspired by. After all, who wouldn’t appreciate Bryant speaking his native language?
