go-ahead from the Chamber to the amended “anti-covid” decree. Significant relaxation of restrictions
The most significant news, from yesterday’s night session, is certainly the ratification of the “anti-Covid” decree of 18 February last. Because the amendments proposed by the Government, and approved by the Chamber, lead to a decision to relax restrictive measures. First of all, the use of masks, no longer mandatory, nor in closed places – including schools -, but only “Highly recommended”. “Recommended”, however, the maintenance of a interpersonal distance at least one meter in public places. Furthermore, the indication of the maximum occupancy in the structures. Again allow, then, the dancing parties: provided that all – customers and staff – are equipped with the already provided health documentation. These are some of the new provisions: a real change of paradigm, in short.
For the rest, agreements with Italian Regions were ratified yesterday evening on issues concerning the waste management; in addition to adhering to some international conventions. A heated debate, then – moreover, it was foreseeable -, on the occasion of the second reading of the law on the subject of boards of statutory auditors and audits by appointment of the Board. An “ex post” justification, the Oppositions had underlined; recalling the story of an auditor of theProduction company: ousted from the meetings of the Board for a period. Today a press release, bearing the names of 4 members of the Board of Statutory Auditors, in which one is mentioned incomplete reading – and therefore decontextualized -, by the Canti Secretary, of a report of the organism of 30 March last. In this way – it is emphasized – it was made to understand that it was the College’s will to proceed with theexpulsion of the mayor in question. Defined “incomprehensible”finally – in the note -, a subsequent declaration by the Secretary of State, according to which the body would subsequently change its orientation. The statement specifies the will to avoid any controversy or political exploitation.
