Jamie xx added to the Helsinki Flow Festival
The Helsinki Flow Festival has announced the second wave of its 2022 line-up, inclusive Jamie xx, JARV ON…and Freddie Gibbs.
A three-day event canceled in 2020 and 2021 coronavirus pandemic, will return to Helsinki on August 12-14. It hosts about 150 artists in historic Suvilahti, the city’s former power plant area.
Today (March 16) the organizers have announced a number of new names for the festival. Along with Jamie xx, JARV IS… and Gibbs, Aldous Harding, Acid Arab, Antti Autio + Jouset, Malla, Ege Zulu and Louie Blue, among others, have been added to the bill.
The organizers previously announced the likes Gorillaz, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Fontaines DC, Michael Kiwanuka, Sigrid, The bikini kills, Little Simz and Princess Nokia For the Flow Festival 2022.

Tickets for the canceled versions of Flow Festival 2020 and 2021 will be automatically accepted for this year’s event. Additional three-day cards are available for purchase here € 205 (€ 172).
Criticizes the event of 2019, NME wrote: “Helsinki Flow Festival is not like other festivals. It was one of the first on the planet to become carbon neutral, it happens in a power plant and it is as much an unusual and niche market as it is in the mainstream. “
In the previous version of the Flow festival, performances were seen e.g. Care, Kesy Impala, Khruangbin, Slowthai, Solange and Earl sweatshirt.
Jamie xx was also recently unveiled as one of the main performers in the opening edition of the new Bristol Festival, Forwards.alongside Chemical Brothers.
The Forwards will be held in Clifton Downs, Bristol, 3-4. September, and 60,000 people are expected to attend in two days.
