: Caritas San Marino-Montefeltro, in Ukraine I work for the reception of 40 refugees hosted on the territory of the Republic
The diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro, a territory in addition to organizing and structuring the welcome of 40 people who will arrive on the Republic, is active through the Caritas of the Vicariate of San Marino, as a reference and collection for the various initiatives activated in various parts of the territory “in order not to waste aid and to better finalize the support”. The news was given by Caritas of San Marino-Montefeltro explaining that “new daily openings have been activated to coordinate interventions both through the procurement and distribution of food, drugs, clothing and to cope with the arrival of people fleeing the territories of war”. “The people of Ammarino – it is explained – will be able to deliver their material aid (food, contributions, and more …) at the San Michele Center even in the extraordinary openings on Tuesday morning and afternoon”.
“There are many people in the Republic – they say from Caritas -, almost exclusively women and children; we are hosting them as we usually do: welcome with open arms, relationships, economic support, integration in the territory and many other initiatives that are, as always, adding to the generosity of the Società Unione Mutuo Soccorso di San Marino, which has decided to support and directly support our action, and that of the citizens of San Marino ”. “We welcome the Holy Father’s appeals for the immediate end of military actions, we join in prayer and commitment alongside those who are already in our country, towards whom we still ask for great closeness, concrete gestures of help, which we commit ourselves to finalize in the best possible way ”, concludes the note.
