Ryanair boosts its Marseille Provence base for summer 2022

Ryanair, the low cost European airline based in Ireland, announced on Thursday March 10 from the Intercontinental hotel in Marseille, a very important flight program for the summer of 2022. According to the company, it is even largest ever in Marseille » with an additional aircraft based for the summer of 2022, i.e. an additional investment of” $100 million (about 91 million euros).
The Marseille-based Ryanair fleet will thus switch to aircraft, including two Boeing 737 8-200 Gamechangers”, which allow 4% more seats, consume 16% less fuel and produce 40% less noise emissions. Ryanair which reports a total investment in Marseille Provence of more than 455 million euros dollars in Marseille Provence announces 150 jobs on site.
Of the 69 lines opened this summer, 10 new destinations are offered to Berlin, East Midlands, Lanzarote, La Rochelle, Luxembourg, Madeira, Santiago de Compostela, Shannon, Tenerife South and Venice. Ryanair will operate more than 240 weekly flights for the summer of 2022, 87 more than the summer of 2019 before the pandemic specifies Ryanair. Have a good trip !
