Les supporteurs du MHSC interdits de déplacement après les affrontements de l’aller
It was expected, it’s now official! MHSC supporters could not move to the Matmut Atlantic this Sunday on the occasion of Bordeaux-Montpellier, match of the 29th day of Ligue 1. The prefecture of Gironde took a stop “restricting the freedom to come and go of Montpellier Hérault Sport Club supporters” for this meeting.
This decision follows the very serious incidents of the first leg on September 22. A bus of Bordeaux supporters had fallen just before the match in a real “ambush”. It was then attacked by nearly 80 Montpellier supporters “hooded and equipped with weapons”. The brawl left 16 injured, some of whom were grave. Six Bordeaux supporters had been hospitalized. An investigation had been opened and the Girondins had filed a complaint against X.
The two teams will try to revive sportingly, between the Girondins who are last in Ligue 1 with five points behind the first non-relegation player and the Montpellier residents who have won only one of their last seven games.
