Guided tours of the Garden and the Botanical Museum of the University of Pisa – What to do
Pisa, 15 March 2022 – Spring awakens at the Botanical Garden and Museum of the University of Pisa. Every third Saturday of the month, the Garden and the Botanical Museum of the University of Pisa offers a guided tour dedicated to his precious vegetable collections, a unique botanical heritage that changes over the seasons.
The next appointment, entitled “The awakening of spring“, it is expected Saturday 19 March at 3 pm with reservations required by 11 am on Friday 18 March by writing to [email protected].
“Most of the public visits our facility independently, but the level of use deriving from an independent visit is not comparable to the experience that can be guaranteed by a guided tour by our botanical communicators – declares the professor Lorenzo Peruzzi, director of the Garden and Botanical Museum – Precisely for this reason we have thought of “botanical Saturdays” since last Saturday February. On the third of each month we will offer, to a limited number of people, the opportunity to take a guided tour with a theme based on the best that the Botanical Garden and Museum can offer at that time. The botanical Saturday in March, for example, will be dedicated to the spring awakening of many of the plants in our collections “.
The cost of the visit, which will start with a minimum of 6 participants paying, is 8 euros per person (free under 6 years).
To access all visitors and the Botanical Museum, visitors can obtain the Covid-19 reinforced green certification (Super Green Pass) and an identity document. Learn more about www.ortomuseobot.sma.unipi.it.
