The sustainable archives of the San Marino-Montefeltro Green Festival arrive in Sogliano, choosing Casa Sambi Eventi in Cesena
The San Marino Sustainable Art Archives – Montefeltro Green Festival have ‘put their legs’ so that they can contaminate our territory with stimuli and beauty. If that of Sogliano al Rubicone seems a casual landing, in reality it is a meeting of souls. The San Marino Sustainable Archives – Montefeltro Green Festival will host in the birthplace of a great personage, visionary and pragmatic, such as Monsignor Pietro Sambi, apostolic nuncio who worked with great commitment and determination in the most difficult theaters on earth such as Jerusalem or Rwanda to find himself finally, in the United States to investigate the burning issue of pedophilia in the clergy.
Today his home is an International Center for Peace “to which we hope to bring new stimuli and ideas to spread its fertile seed” says Gabriele Geminiani, creator of the festival and of the Sustainable Archives. The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday 19 March: at 15.00, in collaboration with the Municipality of Sogliano, there will be one guided tour of the historic center with a final stop at the Disco Museum. At 5.00 pm we meet at Casa Sambi for the inauguration of the Sustainable Archives and ends with a toast by the Proloco Soglianese.
The collection, with its very heterogeneous corpus of works – in fact ranging from photography to painting, from ceramics to sculpture – undoubtedly has a didactic vocation, for which guided tours will be offered to school groups of all levels. “The collaboration with the academies of Fine Arts, schools of communication and industrial design remains open and desirable – adds Geminiani, who thus concludes – Hoping to be able to make it official soon, for the Sustainable Archives another possible landing on the Rimini area, in collaboration with the Culture sector of the Municipality. “
