San Marino. The reflection of the Mixed Majority Group on the sentence of the “Mazzini Account”
“With the conclusion of the level of appeal of the criminal proceedings, called” Conto Mazzini “, a story comes to an end with indications of political connotations and which has inevitably involved the country over the last few years”.
Thus, in a note, the Mixed Majority Group, which adds: “What emerges is an evident abuse of the power of the public for personal purposes by the old political class involved, with a manifest impact at the political level.
Although the sentence gives account of a criminal proceeding that judicially, as emerges from the sentence itself, did not even have the criminal proceeding to take root, because the facts are drawn from prescription, even before it began against the accused.
Having overcome and having a competent seat for the judicial aspects, we believe that the country has, therefore all the elements leave for their own functions to its own policy “which cannot be a firm condemnation for the abuse of public authorities”.
In the same way, it is still necessary to question, also in the light of the findings of the Reports of the Commissions of Inquiry, whether or not there was a real political direction to what happened, or if there was instrumental use of facts and justice for politicians”.
