For a long time, I have been aware of the need to buy real estate. I have always heard my parents regret not having done like their friends who invested in a rental product and who now have an additional salary since their loan has been repaid.

As soon as I started working, at 25, I wanted to invest. Except that buying a main residence in the capital – I live with my friend in Paris in the 17and and we rent an apartment – when you’re young, it’s almost impossible, so I turned to buy-to-let investment. My idea ? Start as early as possible to get profits as soon as possible. So I decided in 2020 to buy a small area in Paris not too far from my home. Indeed, once we have made a 1uh purchase, investing seems simple especially with the platform Bean who takes care of everything. So I gave them a new mission: to buy an apartment, this time without any location constraints, with a budget of €125,000. It’s up to them to find the best profitability! They offered me an apartment in Avignon. I checked, via google, the neighborhood, I read some articles about the city, but I trusted them. I bought this accommodation in November 2021 without ever having seen it. I have signed promise and final deed of distance selling. Based solely on the video and Beanstock’s choice.
Do not visit: a practical formula that saves time
It’s true that buying without visiting can be scary and I wouldn’t do it if it was my main residence. There, the purchase criteria to be fulfilled are very objective. There is no affect. And then in video, we get a perfect idea of the good. You can move around the apartment as if you were there. Not having to go there is practical! And with Beanstock, everything is simple, easy, it’s turnkey, and the rent is guaranteed for one year, the risk is measured. Beanstock also took care of furnishing and renting it out. I could have gone to a classic real estate agency but I didn’t want to go back and forth to visit. Or take care of the work or the furnishings.
I will surely start the adventure abroad again. Maybe in Spain. I find the idea of having a small apartment in Barcelona appealing!
