These are some of the issues at the center of the city council last night, March 10, dedicated to the examination of various motions presented by councilors of the majority and opposition.
MOVEMENTS APPROVE
Unanimously, with 32 votes in favor, the motion signed by the councilor of the mixed group Carla Padovani was approved, inviting the administration to sign “with the president of the Province of Trento a voluntary collaboration protocol for an exchange of good practices family policies “.
With 31 votes in favor and 1 abstention (councilor Massimo Paci), the motion signed by the Northern League councilor Alessandro Gennari was approved for “interventions aimed at promoting and developing collective self-consumption of renewable energy and renewable energy communities”.
Ask the companies that manage the A4 and A22 motorways to reduce the speed limit per hour to 100 kilometers in the sections that cross the city of Verona to reduce pollution. The proposal is linked to the motion of Paola Bressan, approved with 22 votes in favor and 2 abstentions (directors Massimo Paci and Paolo Rossi).

THE REJECTED MOVEMENTS
With 20 votes against and 7 in favor, the motion of Flavio Tosi was rejected for “the recognition of an extraordinary contribution in favor of discos and dance halls”.
Rejected, with 15 votes against, 8 in favor and 2 abstentions, the motion signed by the group leader PD Federico Benini for “carrying out the alcohol test on councilors and councilors before the city council”. A motion presented almost out of spite, given the umpteenth postponement of the proposal to revoke the so-called “homophobic motions” approved by the city council of Verona in 1995.
