High Performance Centers in Portugal available to host cranial athletes and coaches
Through the National Network of High Performance Centers and the owner municipalities, the Sports Foundation and the Portuguese Institute of Sports (IPDJ) will make available, as of this Thursday, 14 infrastructures spread across the country, including Jamor, to welcome athletes and technicians with high performance who wish to have safe sporting conditions in peace and security.
In a statement, the Sports Foundation says that the Internship Centers are ready to welcome Ukrainian athletes “for as long as necessary”. The operation will be carried out in conjunction with the municipalities, in order to guarantee conditions for training, accommodation, food and logistical support.
The Ukrainian Olympic delegation at the Tokyo Games with 157 contour events, won by 25 medals, disputed with 19 medals (one gold, six silver and 12 bronze events), highlighting the Sports Foundation.
The National High Performance Network consists of 14 infrastructures, located in municipalities from north to south of the country and dedicated to all Olympic, individual and collective modalities, cycling to judo, gymnastics, surfing, canoeing, rowing and sailing, equestrian sports, triathlon or football.
The Jamor Performance Center, Jamor Performance Management, provides sports medicine support, assessment, control and optimization of sports performance for two areas of defined training for two areas of defined modalities and modalities.
