She said: “It is a Maltese cafe. We kept all the traditional English dishes, but we added some dishes from all over the world, including Malta.
“It’s modern inside with friendly staff. We are really excited.
“We are also bringing new things, with crepes and waffles. The coffee machine is huge and we are using the best coffee. We are using the best quality. We cook and prepare fresh food in the kitchen. We are using all the fresh bread, it comes every morning from the oven. There is nothing frozen, everything is freshly prepared. “
On the menu are hot and cold dishes, including bagels, paninis, toast and cooked breakfast, as well as afternoon teas, crepes, waffles and milkshakes.
There are special Maltese dishes such as beef sandwich and oiled bread, while foods from around the world include falafel, tacos, grilled halloumi and Middle Eastern shakshuka.
The cafe is open daily and Rania is happy with her location in Standish.
She said: “I love her. I think he is really busy. I like the cafe itself, very spacious interior. There are cafes that are very small inside.
“I’ve been thinking of doing this for a long time, bringing a Maltese theme into a busy space.”
