Ingrid Woudstra-Derlon exhibits at Siac in Marseille
From March 11 to 14, the pougnadoressoise artist, Ingrid Woudstra-Derlon, took part in the Siac (International Exhibition of Contemporary Art) in Marseille. After two years disrupted by the health crisis (2020 edition shortened and 2021 cancelled), Ingrid thrives on finding the public: “ I particularly like this room, explains the artist, because everything is very well organized. It is an opportunity for passionate exchanges with visitors, always to learn more about the different techniques that I use. Above all, I like to use, divert and transform everyday objects such as pens or the tights and stockings that I use to create my characters. I love to surprise, to attract attention, to offer a different vision of the scene of reality, to open perspectives and to lead the public to question themselves with these different materializations from our familiar universe. Exchanging and sharing are an integral part of creation and this is why participation in this show is essential.”
You can meet Ingrid in her studio in Pougnadoresse as well as at the “Art & Co” space in Bagnols-sur-Cèze where she exhibits her works all year round with a collective of artists.
