On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the San Marino Pavilion takes part in the “Break the Bias” initiative
Expo 2020 Dubai is the most universal in the Middle East in which the protagonists are not only the 192 countries that show the world their best innovations and strengths but a scenario in which values, ideals and aspirations are promoted through the presence of dedicated thematic pavilions. The “Women’s Pavilion” is part of this complex of structures and presents itself as a space through the Expo Dubai 2020 celebrating the component that celebrates the part of creative content and a significant programming which aims to reaffirm gender equality and contribution of women in shaping the society of today and tomorrow in favor of their emancipation. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the pavilion dedicated to them, in collaboration with the Cartier brand, launched the #BreakThe Bias communication campaign with the aim of inspiring all of humanity to become the architect of change, breaking stereotypes and deconstructing misconceptions about women’s roles, embracing the concepts of female empowerment and gender equality.
The San Marino Pavilion made up of a managerial staff of four women, the Director Letizia Cardelli, Media Manager Ilaria Brizi, Sales Manager Sara Conti and Protocol & Accreditation Manager Elisabetta Bucci, has warmly welcomed this appeal, participating in the recording of a video , from the campaign of the same name, released on the channels of Expo and the Women’s Pavilion on 8 March. ‘Break the Prejudice’ it is not a binding political appeal but a symbolic declaration of support, a unique opportunity for the management team who together with some girls of the volunteer team of the San Marino Pavilion joined their voices and with team spirit recited a touching chorus declaration in favor of a more inclusive world that relaunches women as promoters of new profitable frontiers and perspectives.
Today, Tuesday 8 March there is no better way to celebrate Women at Expo 2020 Dubai starting from women, their roles and their experiences, demonstrating that female emancipation is possible and gender stereotypes can and must be demolished. .
