Chris Hemsworth learns to snowboard during a winter holiday in Switzerland
He is a talented surfer and is often spotted riding the waves in his hometown of Byron Bay.
So it’s no wonder that Chris Hemsworth was dying to take snowboarding lessons during his winter vacation in St. Moritz, Switzerland last week.
The 38-year-old actor has been making the most of a break from filming his upcoming film Extraction 2 in Prague.

Chris apparently spent two days in St. Moritz, where he enjoyed his free time snowboarding with friends and had a few lessons with an instructor.
The Thor star took to the runway in a khaki jumpsuit, which he paired with an olive green jacket and black tee.
He also wore a black face mask, sunglasses and kept his head warm under an olive knit beanie.
Heading out onto the slopes, Chris strapped on a helmet, donned ski goggles and slipped on a pair of thick gloves.

He also wore brown snow boots, which he strapped to his board as he expertly navigated the slopes.

At one point, the Hollywood heartthrob sat down next to a friend on the run as the two men took a break from activity.

The affable actor even flashed the Shaka sign and grinned as he walked through the ski resort.
He was seen chatting to another friend as they stood side by side on their snowboards.
