🇸🇪 Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2022 international juries are announced
SVT has revealed the eight international juries that will help select the Swedish representative for Eurovision 2022.
The eight international juries that have 50% to say about the results of the Melodifestivalen 2022 have been announced. The lineup includes the last three winning nations; Italy, the Netherlands and Israel. The juries are:
- Netherlands
- Finland (last in the jury 2019)
- Spain (last in the jury 2014)
- Australia (last in the 2020 jury)
- Czech Republic (last in the jury 2016)
- Ireland (last in the jury 2012)
- Israel
- Italy (last in the jury 2017)
the driving order is as follows:
- Klara Hammarström – Spring to the Hills
- THEOZ – As you like
- Anna Bergendahl – Higher power
- John Lundvik – Angel Guard
- Tone Sekelius – My Way
- Anders Bagge – Bigger than the universe
- Robin Bengtsson – Innocent love
- Faith Kakembo – Freedom
- LIAMOO – Bluffin
- Cornelia Jakobs – Keep me closer
- Cazzi Opeia – I can not get enough
- Medina – Into the fog
The winner of the Melodifestivalen final on March 12 will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy.

Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has continued to be one of the competition’s most successful countries. The country has won the competition six times, the most recent was 2015. Sweden’s first victory came in 1974 when ABBA won the competition in Brighton with “Waterloo”. Since missing in the final in 2010, Sweden has finished third twice and won the competition twice, only in 2013 did the country end up outside the top 10 in the final.
