In just three years, the eurozone could have a digital euro to supplement cash and bank balances, according to the European Central Bank.
The Swiss National Bank (SNB) is also examining an e-franc: initially only between banks. But here, too, smart people are already thinking about what a widespread introduction of CBDCs could mean.
