On Saturday March 6, 2021, while driving near his home, in Bormes-les-Mimosas (Var), Anthony Roux had fallen heavily. Hospitalized at the Toulon University Hospital, Meuse cycling suffered from multiple fractures and lesions (cervical, ribs, scapula) and was forced to leave the bike aside for several weeks.
