Genoa, thousands in the march against the war in Ukraine
Genoa – Students, workers, pensioners, trade unions, single citizens, Ukrainian immigrants and many other foreigners: thousands took to the streets this afternoon in Genoa in internationalist procession to say no to all wars.
With the red flags and those of peace, the procession started shortly after 3 pm from via Fanti d’Italia, crossed via Gramsci, climbing up the Annunziata, until it closed in piazza Matteotti.
Among the participants also Mina, a Ukrainian citizen, in Genoa since 2010, but with the whole family still scattered in her country: “I have a niece trapped between Poland and Lviv, my sister is in Kiev, another nephew went to fight because he in military service Putin did not have to go to school, because with Russia we are brothers.
