Eurovision Sweden: the line-up of the final of the Melodifestivalen 2022 is complete
Another night in the Melodifestivalen’s long 2022 campaign. The most followed national selection continued tonight live from Stockholm with the second chance. The last four places for the big final were to be won.
The famous second chance competition gave eight acts another opportunity to qualify for the grand finale of the Melodifestivalen 2022. With the usual Oscar Zia as host, live from friends Arena in Stockholm these were tonight’s competing entries:
Group I
- Tone Sekelius – My way
- Alvaro Estrella – Affable
- Form Straightness – Hallabaloo
- Anna Bergendahl – Higher power
Group II
- Theoz – As you wish
- Lisa Miskovsky – Best to come
- Little Sister– Until our days are over
- Cazzi Opeia – I can not get enough
They were divided into two groups and fought for the last four qualifying places. The audience delivered the result. The qualifiers for the first group were Anna Bergendahl and Tone Sekelius. From the other group Theoz and Cazzi Opeia.
The cat is therefore finally out of the bag! We now have the entire lineup for next Saturday’s grand final:

Sweden in Eurovision
Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has won Europe’s favorite program 6 times (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, 2015) and has hosted the competition three times in Stockholm (1975, 2000, 2016), twice in Malmö ( 1992, 2013) and once in Gothenburg (1985). The country has had great success in the competition in recent years, after reaching 8 TOP 10 places in the competition over the last 10 years including 2 victories.
Year 2021 Tusse won the Swedish national final and flew to Rotterdam with his contribution ‘Voices‘.
