an aqueduct for a complete quality in Alta Val Marecchia even more
The adaptation works of the central purification plant of the Senatello for the installation of a more efficient disinfection and cutting-edge remote control equipment involve an investment of almost 200 thousand euros
To improve the quality of the water supplied in the Alta Val Marecchia thanks to a highly reactive and efficient infection method, Hera has completely renovated a purification plant and installation of state-of-the-art remote equipment. In order to install an innovative chlorine dioxide disinfection system, which requires the introduction of smaller quantities of substance and a shorter contact time than sodium hypochlorite, Hera had to completely modify the Senatello plant and at the same time install meters flow rate and tools that check the quality delivered in real time. To come? Through an innovative remote control system, able to remotely see, control, monitor and manage the flow of water that comes out of mountain springs, capable of reaching one million 300 thousand cubic meters of water every year, destined for 9 thousand inhabitants of the Municipalities of Casteldelci, Novafeltria and Sant’Agata Feltria This Alta Val Marecchia, which involved an investment of over € 200,000, is one of the many interventions carried out by Hera to increase the resilience of the water system, which in the territory alone of the province of Rimini has an extension of almost 5,500 km (3,000 km of aqueduct network and 2,500 km of sewer network). “I express great satisfaction and thank the Hera Group for the fruitful work carried out in the last two years – specifies the mayor of Casteldelci Fabiano Tonielli -. The collaboration, put in place by the technical structures of the Group, has allowed us to make necessary and important investments on the entire water distribution network. With this further investment, which is a flagship from a technological point of view, we are proceeding in the right direction of modernizing the water collection and distribution networks of the most important source in Valmarecchia ”. In the first use of oxide dioxide, in some areas some irregularities in the water supply may occur in the supply (alteration of color and odor, perceived more intensely with hot water), at the change of public network disinfectant and private, whose potability from a chemical and bacteriological point of view remains confirmed. To encourage greater water exchange and limit users as much as possible, Hera, right from the start-up phase, has implemented control and analysis procedures and scheduled pipe washing activities. Furthermore, it will constantly monitor the aqueduct of the entire Alta Val Marecchia, in order to ensure that the sanitation process takes place uniformly, up to the network terminals in the hamlets concerned. The company apologizes for the inconvenience and ensures the utmost commitment to keep work times to a minimum, remembering that in case of urgency (reporting breakdowns, breakages, various emergencies) it is free and active 24 hours a day, seven days a week. the emergency number 800,713,900 for water, sewage and purification services.
