Sporting CP – FC Porto, the Portuguese Cup live
The first was intense with Sporting and FC Porto trying to remove the image of the last C, splitting that ended with several parts. Matheus Nunes was very close to the goal, with a great shot that went very close to the right post of the goal of the returned Marchesín.
In the second half, Sporting’s free kick, assisted by Pedro Porro and great goal by Pablo Sarabia with an arc shot to Marchesín.
However, the equalizing goal would come ten minutes later. Porro’s foul on Evanilson in the penalty area and Mehdi Taremi irreproachably beat the penalty for a 1-1 draw.
A move that changed after the game, Sporting already felt the goal and suffered little again, in a great move by FC Porto. Inside the leonine area, Taremi assisted Evanilson with a heel and the Brazilian forward just had to place the ball to hit Ádan again.
Both Sporting and FC Porto continued looking for goals but the result remained and FC Porto leaves Alvalade with a 2-1 victory. The second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals will only be played in April.
