A spiral of Bulgarians was dismantled with scams for alleged traffic accidents, operating from Evros to Athens.
By Evros to Athena a spiral was acting Βουλγάρων scammers who called the elderly pretending to be relatives who were allegedly injured in a car accident or doctors and demanding money on the pretext that there was an urgent need for surgery. Disassembly of the circuit reached the Moudania Security police, when they investigated the frauds that had taken place last Saturday in its areas. Of Halkidiki against two Greek women, from whom the perpetrators had extracted in total EUR 23,680, 20,000 euros from the first and over 3,500 euros from the second. According to the investigation, the money was received by a 54-year-old Bulgarian woman, who was arrested later that day and in her possession were all the money, which was returned to the victims. As part of the preliminary investigation, a 64-year-old woman and her 43-year-old son were arrested on Sunday in the area of Thessaloniki, who were receiving money from their cooperation and it was found that the three of them had deceived another victim in the area of Evros from whom they had received. 43,000 euros last Thursday and another in an area of Attica that had given them an unknown amount of money last November. The three Bulgarians were taken to the prosecutors of the Court of First Instance of Polygyros with the case against them for setting up and participating in joint organization and fraud, while a car and three mobile phones used in their travels were confiscated.
