Sweden announces an additional SEK 500 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Stockholm [Sweden]March 1 (ANI): On Tuesday, Sweden announced an additional SEK 500 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine, which gives the total contribution to Ukraine to SEK 1 billion in humanitarian aid.
Sweden’s Foreign Minister Ann Linde spoke on Twitter, “Sweden announces another SEK 500 million (€ 47 million) in humanitarian aid to #Ukraine. This is in addition to the SEK 120 million last week. In total, Sweden has contributed over SEK 1 billion in humanitarian aid and SEK 2.3 billion in reform aid to Ukraine since 2014. “
Sweden also proposed several new EU measures in the light of the ongoing crisis, aimed at Russian leadership and oligarchs.

In addition, Ann Linde met with practically Nordic-Baltic foreign ministers and discussed ways to increase support for Ukraine.
