Portugal has natural gas reserves for more than three months, guarantees Environment Minister
Minister Pedro Matos 90 days, João Pedro Matos, said that this Monday he has “very comfortable reserves” that Portugal has “very comfortable reserves” of gas, as well as “public reserves of 90 days” of reserves, eventual impediments due to the invasion of Ukraine.
“Portugal does not depend at all on the gas pipeline that comes from Russia, all that uses gas is LNG, which is re-gasified and used in our country. Three days ago, as gas reserves at 80% and today the number is certainly superior”, so “we have very comfortable reserves”, declared João Pedro Matos Fernandes.
