Paris honors the wines of Fronton
The pediments reaped the medals at the General Competition, yesterday, at the Paris International Agricultural Show
Despite the vagaries of the weather last year, which significantly reduced production, the Fronton winegrowers managed to maintain the good quality of their wines, some even increasing it. Result: eleven medals, including five gold, won at the general competition at the International Agricultural Show. On site, the director of the Syndicat des Vins de Fronton, Benjamin Piccoli, did not hide his shared happiness with the decorated winegrowers: “We can salute the work of all, and note the beautiful harvest of the cooperative cellar Vinovalie which stands out in rosés and in reds. We can see it once again, our rosés have nothing to be ashamed of when compared to the best wines, with superb aromas and an interesting quality/price ratio. These wines represent nearly 50% of the wines of the appellation. They have the wind in their sails!”
