a new form of communication at the service of the country
For a long time, too, the citizenship has fully delegated to the political class the questions of economic development which, in turn, have been delegated to external consultants. The most striking examples of this dynamic are the many strategic plans on tourism and economic development that have occurred over the years and which punctually, with the data in hand, have not produced significant results. What should concern us are not any delegations to plans for implementing the economic development lines already defined by the policy, but those relating to the definition of the development lines themselves. Persevering on this path means admitting a lack of skills, paid for with large outlays of money. The consequence of never having posed this problem is that the onset of other and far more serious social and political dynamics must now be added to the concrete results. We explain ourselves better. On the one hand, the failure to plan a training course for the ruling class of economic development has led to a progressive impoverishment of the political debate. On the other hand, the total lack of initiatives in the field of spreading a virtuous culture of internationalization in the country has led citizens to focus on their attention on political action limited to questions of a purely domestic nature. In this regard, one of the main objectives of the RETE Desk group is to shift information and the level of dialogue to questions that are much more important and structural than small political skirmishes or neighborhood questions. The development of skills to safeguard the common good is an exercise that has now become essential and it is at all levels, not just those of specializations. Today, the development of skills must be interpreted primarily as a community exercise, necessary not only for the economic survival of our country, but for the existence of its own democratic structure. Furthermore, we cannot speak of sovereignty if we do not begin to think all together, to dialogue and to provide information as a Sovereign State and not according to the logic of a small Municipality. Sovereignty does not mean being free to do as you wish tout court, but it means declining this freedom within the international logic which, if understood, can bring benefits unimaginable to the country today. It is therefore no coincidence, as already highlighted in our previous press releases, that the Rete Desk group has among its primary objectives the formation of a new ruling political class able to escape from the “logic of slogans” and the involvement of citizens. in economic matters. The Facebook page of the RETE Desk group and the contents of its first public evenings represent the most immediate and tangible proof of the path started and which all citizens invited to participate, also by sending an email to: [email protected]
