Mis on the economy, the war in Ukraine and the re-aggregation of the left
On Wednesday, the Idealist Movement brought us together the Board and analyzed the political situation, with particular reference to the health, economic / financial and social situation, unanimously revealing a great social growth due to the serious state of unresolved, if not aggravated, difficulties facing the country. Even greater bewilderment and dramatically emerged due to the escalation of war that brings Europe back to the tragic scenario that Yugoslavia seemed to have overcome in the 90s. The Socialist Ideals Movement hopes that the Republic of San Marino, which has always been the bearer of the values of peace and neutrality, will act as a spokesperson in all international fora, so that the war in Ukraine will stop and a true peace process can begin. Subsequently, the Board analyzed the situation of the socialist-reformist area, following the references that have been continuing for several days by individual light exponents, parties and movements in the reference area. In MIS’s opinion, the doors of eventual re-aggregation are open for all those who identify with socialist, reformist and liberal values and ideals. However, the expectations, needs and needs of the citizens of San Marino must be placed back at the center of the project, avoiding reducing political organizations to mere electoral committees, useful exclusively for guaranteeing the seat to individuals for exclusive personal interests. Today, that an era in the history of Sammaria history is about to end, there is an even more need to reconstruct, in its fine organizations, the policies that allow the citizen to arrive, he must have been more prepared when called upon to take on institutional roles, and that movementism as an end in itself with populist connotations has shown that it is unable to replace. The Socialist Ideals Movement is keen to highlight the appreciation for the work carried out by its exponent in advising – albeit from opposing fronts – with the Socialist Councilor of the mixed group Denise Bronzetti. Finally, the Board of Directors expressed sharing and appreciation for the work of the Political Secretary Severino Bollini, urging him to continue the intense activity of confrontation, verification and synthesis ahead with the area, parliamentary and extra-parliamentary forces.
