San Marino Academy, the results of the weekend
MEN’S SECTOR
National Championships
After two matches without points, Bonesso’s Under 17s are back to celebrate their success at the end of a match full of goals. Reggiana appeared at Customs as the third force in the group, but the hosts approach the challenge without any kind of awe. Indeed, perhaps mindful of the round defeat of the first leg, they attacked the opponent in a vehement way, even reaching the partial 4-0 with the goals of Michelucci, Gasperoni and Moretti in the first half and with that of Ugolini at the beginning of the second half. At this point the blue-white fury subsides, so much so that the Emilians manage to halve the distance with the centers of Vittoriani and Elatachi. Famiglietti tries to put salt on the opponents’ tail by signing the 5-2, but Reggiana still has some to create apprehension in the Bonesso gang, forced to immediately 5-3 by Spallanzani and even 5-4 by Devona, a sign on rigor. In the little time remaining, the Academy manages to contain the last attempts and in the end to bring the fourth success of the season to port, which is worth the engagement with Imolese and provisionally overtaking on Gubbio. It does not go as well for the other three national teams involved in the weekend. There is a great deal for the Under 16s, who in the first half of the match at Fermana build a conspicuous amount of scoring but manage to put the ball in the bottom of the bag only once, on a free kick, with Capicchioni. In the highlights of the first fraction also two crosses by Riccardi and a penalty neutralized by the visiting goalkeeper Orazi. It follows that Fermana remains in the game, and in the second half she fully returns when Bongelli finds a way to sign the 1-1. The mockery, for Leoni’s boys, becomes total when – in the 69th minute – Innamorati even manages to take the Marche team ahead, then good at leading the success until the closing whistle. The knockout of the Under 15 and Primavera 4 teams, opposed respectively to Reggiana and Mantova, is also of measure. In both cases it is only one goal that makes the difference: in the minor category, the one that Bertolini scores in the 51st minute; in the higher category, the one that Falanca puts a mark on the 34th minute of the second half. Mantua protagonist at Dogana for what has been demonstrated on the field but even more in terms of sensitivity: the visiting team in fact presented itself at the Ezio Conti di Dogana, theater of the tragic death of Leo Tabarrini, with a floral dedicated to the memory of the unfortunate keeper of San Marino playing fields, flown to the sky last February 4th. A special and highly appreciated gesture: a tangible sign of how one can be true champions even outside the pitch.
Provincial and regional champions
A negative result ends the path of the Under 13 Professionals, who returned to the field yesterday for the recovery of the 14th and last day of the championship. Cesena wins 3- against Fiorentino: Juventus all three sections of the game, with scores of 1-0, 2-0 and 4-0 respectively. The young Titans, however, go to the test of the shootout, won with the overall result of 27-26.
FUTSAL SECTOR
The strip of useful results of the Titanas is lengthening, which in the standings not only move away from the “marshy” area but even climb up to fourth place, shared with Arzachena and Santu Predu. The eighth wonder of Pini’s team is yesterday’s success – the second in a row – against the Turin Academy, in a challenge once again marked by absences but once again played with the spirit of those who want to dare a clear swerve to their own path, beyond the difficulties. Mission: the Piedmontese manage to recover the initial 0-2, but then do not find a way to reply to the overbearing return of the girls of the house, able in the end to close with three lengths of advantage and to overtake their opponents. of the day. The challenge goes straight to the heart: not even 4 ‘and Cabrera becomes the protagonist of a personal action ended with a winning southpaw at the edge of the pole. The Cuban-born player tries an encore 2 ‘later, when she tries the door with a conclusion that Gorrea foils with his foot. Then it is Judge who seeks glory: the 9 turns well on the opponent and then lets go of a shot that ends its run out a little. The Turin Academy is seen for the first time in the middle of the fraction with a cross shot by captain Cuccu: Giorgi is alert and takes a corner. Shortly after serving a providential mending by Giudice, on the goal line, to avoid the worst on Parlagreco’s punishment. The Turin Academy gradually gains confidence, returning to become dangerous with Daddato who tries to exploit the great freedom granted to him with a shot that calls Giorgi and another level save. The Titans try to get out of the opposing pressure and at 17 ‘they return to engage Gorrea with Cabrera, invited to shoot by Taioli directly from the throw-in. On the corner that follows, Comandini finds himself a greedy ball a few steps from the goal, but the deviation of number 6 ends up high. The latter tries again at Severino’s invitation, finding Gorrea’s decisive fuss. The last ring of the first half is always from the landlord: Severino, Comandini and Taioli combine well, sending the last one to the conclusion, just wide.
In the second half there is immediately some work for Giorgi, urged by Daddato. The San Marino response is in Taioli’s ‘bet’ at Cabrera’s suggestion: ball to the side. Giorgi has to intervene again on 2 ‘, this time on friendly fire, while on the other side the agreement between Cabrera and Taioli is renewed, with the latter going to shoot and surrender to the post. After another raid by Daddato neutralized with difficulty, the Titans send Taioli again in search of the double: even this time it is very few centimeters that make the difference. The beating and repeating continues with the face to face between Giorgi and Daddato, won by the home keeper who even decides to exaggerate: the immediate raise becomes a perfect assist for Giudice, who then puts in his perfect flying control and in the conclusion of justice . The Turin Academy does not give up: at 7 ‘Daddato is again knocking on Giorgi’s door, always impeccable. The tenacity of the 10 guest is rewarded a few actual seconds later, when his ‘bet’ on the development of a lineout is squeezed to the left of the home keeper. Not even the time to reorganize that the Titans suffer a draw on an action-photocopy, always with Daddato to cheer. And it is at this point that Cabrera returns to the chair: the 11 Titana gives the landlord the advantage with an inexorable ‘bet’ after having perfectly combined with Comandini. Cabrera also the throw-in that arms the conclusion of Mordenti, stopped by the intersection of the goalposts. After which the Turin Academy returns, which in two close circumstances calls Giorgi to difficult save-result saves: in both cases it is Tortia who seeks glory, and in both cases it is Pini’s goalkeeper who wins the duel. The 3-2 creaks a lot even at 2 ‘: 53’ ‘from the end, when Giorgi is saved from the post on the almost sure shot of Altamura. On the overturning, Comandini carves out the space to go to the shot, walled by Gorrea at the exit. In the last 1 ‘: 30’ ‘the San Marino Academy puts the last two seals: Giudice completes the brace by collecting a loose ball on a chaotic action she initiated (with the ball on the pole); then it is Taioli who goes to the scoresheet with a winning ‘bet’. Giorgi’s very last two saves, conclusions on Cuccu’s close matches, are used to keep the home goalkeeper’s vote high and the +3 in the result intact. In the end it is a great celebration for the second victory and the eighth consecutive useful result, which the girls of the house wanted to dedicate to the memory of Lucio Landi, father of the athletic trainer Andrea.
